Continuing to Protect Customers During Covid-19

The coronavirus pandemic shows no signs of slowing as new hot spots continue to crop up across Texas. Even as Dallas County shows a decline in the number of cases confirmed each day, our statewide numbers are still troubling. Texas surpassed New York this week in the number of confirmed cases.

As a retail business, we are committed to caring for our customers and keeping people safe. So, how are we working to keep our car wash locations running smoothly and our wash results as awesome as ever? Here was some of our ongoing protective measures that we are happy to share with you. We continue to be vigilant about sanitization and good prevention measures and are committed to not becoming complacent.

Social distancing – Early in the pandemic, we removed all our vacuum stations to cut back on the potential for surface transmission of the virus. Since it now appears that the most common way this virus is spread is through person to person interaction, we have opted to replace our vacuum stations and get them running again at 50 percent capacity. Please leave one parking spot between your car and the next vehicle when using the vacuum systems to allow six feet of distance between you and our other customers.

Sanitization and Touch Points – Our point of sale system is almost completely automated. We have staff available to help you with payment. If you are a monthly pass customer, you don’t even have to roll down your window. Just pull through, and the automatic tunnel settings will take care of you. We continue to practice good hand hygiene and regularly sanitize our high touch areas to minimize the chance of surface transmission.

Protecting our employees – Our staff members are minimizing their in-person interaction with each other. We are running smaller shifts to keep employees safe. We are a family-oriented business and want to protect our employees and our community. Any employee who has any symptoms or has been around an ill person is asked to stay home.

Masking – Please note that it’s July in Texas, so for the comfort of our employees, they will not be required to be masked when outside in the sun and away from customers and other staff. Our staff members will always wear masks when they interact face to face with our customers and each other.

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your cars!
